Shayal Narayan, PA-C

Shayal Narayan is a board certified Physician Assistant with a strong background in Women’s Health. She was previously working at Planned Parenthood where she provided a range of healthcare services including preventive care such as pap smears and breast exams, along with evaluating patients for abnormal uterine bleeding, pelvic pain, and other gynecological concerns. On a daily basis, she performed reproductive health procedures such as IUD (Mirena and Paragard) insertions and removals, Implant (Nexplanon) insertions and removals, wart removals. She is passionate about supporting her patients to understand their health through thorough patient education and helping patients feel confident in their choices to live their healthiest life. 

She earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at UC Davis Health located in Sacramento, after getting her Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology from University of California, Santa Cruz. Shayal grew up in the peninsula of the Bay Area. Outside of her professional life, Shayal enjoys being active, spending time outdoors at the beach or a hike with her dog, and cooking for family and friends.
