Randi Wirfel, PA-C

Randi Wirfel joined Silicon Valley Sports Medicine (SVSM) in October 2025. Prior to joining SVSM, she worked as a primary care Physician Assistant (PA) in San Jose at Bay Area Community Health for two years. She has been practicing full scope primary care, including managing acute and chronic conditions (i.e. diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, hypothyroidism, etc.), ordering and interpreting lab / imaging results, conducting comprehensive preventative care visits, women's health, and counseling on weight loss.

She is passionate about preventative medicine, implementing lifestyle changes, and partnering with her patients to create treatment plans to reach their goals.

Randi completed her training at University of Southern California, Keck School of Medicine in 2023. Prior to PA school, she worked for four years as a medical assistant (MA), then MA supervisor at a private practice in Encinitas, CA. It was there that she discovered her passion for primary care.

She was raised in Gilroy, CA and in high school enjoyed playing volleyball, swimming, and singing in choir, even touring in Europe and performing in Carnegie Hall. She's enjoyed returning to the Bay Area after PA school to serve her local community and be closer to family. In her free time, she enjoys practicing yoga, spending time outdoors, and traveling with family and friends.
