![]() Juana Vargas, M.D. Dr. Juana Vargas is an Emergency Medicine and Sports Medicine Trained Physician. She is originally from New York where she completed her undergraduate education at New York University, followed by medical school at the Zucker School of Medicine. During her Emergency Medicine residency at Northwell Health, she recognized the need for improved treatment options for chronic pain resulting from sports injuries, falls and daily activities. Throughout her fellowship at Stanford O'Connor, she concentrated on orthobiologics and ultrasound-guided procedures, aiming to enhance patient outcomes and improve the overall quality of life through these innovative interventions. In her free time, Dr. Vargas enjoys playing tennis, rock climbing, and hiking with her dog Cheddar. |
